The Warrior's Path was created as a source of teaching, encouragement, and fellowship for a new generation of Christ-followers who desire to live life from the strength of their adoption as sons and daughters of the King, experiencing the "full" Christian life, and becoming God's Mighty Men and Women in the ongoing mission of bringing God's Kingdom into a dark world.
Ultimately, the Warrior's Path was created for ourselves. After being awakened to the joy and life offered through the teaching of Ransomed Heart ministries, we became aware that there just wasn't much support out there for maintaining that sort of Epic, romantic attitude towards life. Well, it's there -- it's everywhere: in the tiniest rosebud and in the highest, snow-capped rocky peaks; in the shiver of delight you feel as you pass through the pages of Narnia, and in the swelling of heart you feel when listening to the music from Braveheart. Really, it's everywhere. Except, inexplicably, in the places that it most rightfully belongs: in our Christian faith, our religious beliefs, and in our church experience.
And so, for the nourishing of our own souls, The Warrior's Path was born. We needed a place where taxes and politics and fiscal responsibility were not the final word on what was ultimately True. We needed a place where a man (or woman) could dream of becoming more than just a man (or woman): where they could nourish their longings to become a hero...a pivotal player in God's redemptive plan to save mankind from darkness and destruction.
And although for some of you, The Warrior's Path will become a recreation, an alternative perspective, a fresh breeze blowing through an open window in your dry and crusty 'adult' world -- to us it is truly the way that we have begun to see the world, and the way that we are endeavoring to live our lives.
We expect that along the way we will be joined by others. The message of King Arthur's Round Table was that only in intimate fellowship can even the greatest warrior find his true full potential. It is our desire to make the possibility of living the life of a Christian warrior-monk a reality...even here in the 21st century.
