Some personal glimpses from behind the scenes along the Warrior's Path:

Here's an email message that passed between us a few years ago that encapsulates yesterday's New Year's encouragement to reframe the hard times of 2010 as motivation to press into 2011.

Brother -

Thankful for cleansing sleep and the miracle of a new dawn every
morning - a new chance to start afresh...another opportunity to
turn into the wind, set our faces like flint, and say to the Enemy,
'No matter how many times you knock me down, blind me, distract
me, assault me, discourage me and lie to me I will always keep
fighting you. And know this: with the strength of my Lord Jesus
within me, I will defeat you, no matter how long it takes.'

Amen and Amen.

That's it. The real deal: real life encouragement between brothers slugging it out in the trenches of what it means to walk in the Unseen Realm against all odds and sometimes (seemingly) against all hope, because ultimately the Warrior's Path isn't about a blog full of interesting theories...it's about how we are striving to live.
